Selesitila HarveyThe beginning of Ocean Song by @Dinah Jane felt like more than just music… it felt like a calling. 🌊🤎 A calling to our people, to our ancestors, and to the islands that carry our stories, our culture, our strength, and our mana. I wanted this choreography to showcase the beauty of all the islands of the Pacific, but also to remind us that no matter which island we come from, we are connected by something deeper. By our roots. By our ancestors. By the ocean that has always connected us. This one is for our Tupuna, our aiga, our whānau, and every generation that carries our culture forward. 🌺 #polynesian #culture #dance #polytiktok🇦🇸🇼🇸🇹🇴🇫🇯 #pasifika
