Taylor_frankelwellness habits that are genuinely good for your brain :) as a founder my brain is my most important tool. if it’s foggy, slow, or anxious — everything suffers. these are the habits I come back to every week because I genuinely feel the difference 1. protein packed bowls with good fats — omega-3s from salmon support memory and focus. I eat some version of this almost daily 2. walking in nature — 20 minutes lowers cortisol and boosts the part of your brain that handles focus and creative thinking 3. strength training — the mental clarity and energy that comes after after lifting (heavy) is real. 3. creatine — creatine fuels your brain’s energy metabolism. helps with mental fatigue especially under stress 4. a sport you love (mine is tennis) — split-second decisions, coordination, strategy. a full cognitive workout and the one exercise I never have to convince myself to do :)! 5. water with lemon first thing — your brain is 75% water. rehydrate before you caffeinate 6. journaling — writing by hand slows my ADHD brain down enough to actually process what’s going on. These are just habits that work for me after years of trying different things (including med.) If there’s any that I’m missing that you swear by - would love to know <3
