St. JudeSome bonds last a lifetime, and beyond. ❤️ Carter Bucciero was treated at St. Jude for an aggressive brain tumor, receiving chemotherapy, a tailored treatment plan and radiation therapy before passing away in 2012 at just 3 years old. His mom, Sarah, continues to honor his memory through Team Carter, fundraising and sharing his story, saying, "How could I not? They never stopped fighting for Carter." Carter's older brother, Mason, has carried that mission forward for years, speaking at St. Jude events and creating his own fundraisers in honor of his brother. Now, as he begins college, Mason continues supporting the place that meant so much to their family. Through Sarah, Mason and countless supporters, Carter's legacy lives on by helping give other children a chance.
