Saint MotelA very sweet (and smoky) Fan Appreciation Friday 🍸 For this week’s #FAF, Niccolo Sarmiento created The Sweet Talk, a cocktail inspired by “Sweet Talk” from saintmotelevision and a very beautiful memory of summers spent with his grandmother. In Niccolo’s words: “This drink is called The Sweet Talk, just like your song, but it actually comes from a very personal and special memory: the summers I spent with my grandmother. She was a fantastic woman who used a wheelchair, and every summer I’d take her to the pool so she could enjoy a lovely day out. When we got back, we’d stop by Carmelo il cocomeraio, the fruit vendor right across from the pool. It was a real tradition for us: we’d sit down to eat watermelon together, play your songs in the background — which she absolutely loved — and I’d light a mosquito coil in the garden. I wanted to capture that exact feeling in this glass. The watermelon, the smoky mezcal, even the scent of citronella and woody notes were all chosen to bring him back to those summer afternoons and evenings with her." Thank you for sharing Niccolo, we are honored “Sweet Talk” become part of such a beautiful memory. Everybody, please go hug your grandmas if you’re lucky enough to still have them around. ❤️ #FAF #SweetTalk #Cocktail #FanAppreciationFriday
