Ripley’sThese babies turn into snacks for their mother if she gets hungry! 😳 Female scorpions give birth to live young, sometimes up to 100 at once. The tiny, pale babies climb onto their mom’s back and pincers for protection until their first molt, around two weeks later. Believe It or Not!, if mom gets hungry, she may eat some of her weaker babies! Once the little scorpions develop their tougher exoskeletons, they leave mom behind and fend for themselves.
