RipitDAY 4!! Released on May 24, 2002, Pokémon’s Legendary Collection was a “greatest hits” set of the early TCG, bringing back iconic cards from Base Set, Jungle, Fossil, and Team Rocket. What made the 110-card set truly legendary was something Pokémon had never done before: Reverse Holographic cards. Every card in the set received a reverse holo version featuring the now-iconic “fireworks” foil pattern, with one reverse holo appearing in every booster pack. There was no 1st Edition printing and no Japanese equivalent, making Legendary Collection one of the most unique releases of the entire Wizards of the Coast era.
