RipitPeeling the BIGGEST mistake in Pokémon 😬 On October 15, 1996, the first two official Pokémon Trading Cards were released from within Corocoro Comic #223 - a “glossy" Jigglypuff & Pikachu… But there was a mistake: the legendary Ken Sugimori was printed as the artist, when in reality, Keiji Kinebuchi was responsible for Pikachu’s design. A crazy error for the first two Pokémon Trading Cards ever So, in 1998, the Pokémon company held a “lottery” contest where 2,000 winners were selected to receive an unpeeled sheet featuring the Glossy Pikachu & Jigglypuff, but with the CORRECTED artist, Keiji. This particular sheet was purchased for $65,000 Follow @ripit for part TWO & rip the Corocoro 223 right now on Ripit.co 🔥 @Logan Paul
