Renee Ricci | The 40+ EditI got called lazy for sending my laundry out. A year ago, I probably would've felt guilty. But part of raising my standards has been realizing I don't have to earn rest by doing everything myself. I'm a full-time working mom. If outsourcing one task gives me more time with my family, less stress, and more energy for the things that actually matter, that's money well spent. Raising your standards isn't always about buying nicer things. Sometimes it's simply deciding your time is valuable too.
