Rainforest ExpeditionsDeep in the Amazon rainforest, a young macaw enters one of the most critical stages of its life. Around week five, its body transforms as dense plumage takes shape and its flight feathers begin to emergeāpreparing it for the moment it will leave the nest and take to the skies. Inside our artificial nests, everything becomes training. Climbing, flapping, strengthening. Even its body weight adjusts to make flight possible. Every detail leads to one defining moment: its first flight over the Amazon canopy. š Tambopata Research Center #macawsoftiktok #macaw #macaws
