If you’re heading to Nice I’d highly recommend a trip to Cagnes - sur - mer Only a few stops in the train or you can get the bus (remember the bus is CASH only!) or you can drive and parking costs around €3.20 for 6 hours! It’s so peaceful and quiet which is perfect to soak up the rays, swim in the blue water or read your book.
