🎃 welcome to Creature Feature (pt.2)🦇🌊 this halloween, we’re diving into the deep, dark, and downright bizarre world of marine life to meet the creatures that prove nature is the ultimate horror artist. Today we are introducing the hermit crab: A crustacean living a life straight out of Goldilocks, forever searching for a shell that fits just right. With a body that resembles a Predalien Chestburster, I can confidently say that these guys aren't making the cover of Vogue anytime soon 🦀 And just when you thought the housing market couldn't get any worse, imagine having to find a new one every time you outgrow yours. Just an endless cycle of shell shopping and fighting for affordable housing on the ocean floor (sounds familiar right!) PSA: leave shells at the beach, you never know which one might be someone's next home🏚️ 🕸️ part 2 of 5 what creature from the deep should haunt the next episode? 👁️ #CreatureFeature #SpookySeries #HalloweenSeries #marinebiology #OceanTok #tidepools
