Perry VaileI wish I had a better update than this, but unfortunately the North Carolina mountains have a very, very long journey ahead of them. This is our road out from our house (the only road). We have food, water, and patience just no power or road - and will be working on our alternative plan to get out tomorrow that might involve a long walk. Grateful our house, family and neighbors are okay and that I had the weekend off from weddings tomorrow ❤️ Burnsville (and all of these small areas) need prayers AND boots on the ground. #hurricanehelene #ncmountains #flooded #burnsvillenc
