patrick taAnyone who knows me knows my LOVE for boba milk tea. 🧋🤍 Ever since high school, I would beg my parents to take me to get boba after school. It was never just about the drink, but the memories made with friends and family. I always dreamed that one day I would open a café of my own. @ingoodcompanycafe When my best friend and I decided to open our first café, we thought, “How hard could it really be?” Little did we know what we were getting ourselves into. What we thought would be a 6-month project has turned into over 18 months and counting. Our original $250K budget has grown to over $900K, and neither of us knew a thing about opening a café. It’s been one of the most humbling, challenging, and rewarding experiences. We’ve made mistakes, learned some VERY expensive lessons, and grown so much along the way. That’s why I’m taking you along on this journey, one episode at a time. The good, the bad, the mistakes, and everything I wish I knew before starting. My hope is that sharing our experience inspires someone else to chase a dream of their own. Because you don’t have to know everything to start something. You just have to believe in it enough to begin. This project was built from a genuine love for boba, matcha, coffee, and bringing people together. From a childhood dream to a reality.
