PaigeTingey#NatGeoGollab Earlier this year I was in a vehicle working with @National Geographic in the Masai Mara, experiencing the landscape and wildlife where LION was filmed. This week I’m at D23 watching the world meet the series it has become. LION follows a single lion cub named Kio across four years, from a vulnerable cub to a king. I got to travel through that landscape and later sit down with Sophie Darlington, the cinematographer who lived out there filming this pride. Hearing how she captured this story, and getting to call her a friend after our trip, is something I’ll carry for a long time. Most people are meeting the Masai Mara for the first time. I got to see where it began. LION premiered on National Geographic, and is now streaming on Disney+ and Hulu. #africa #nateo #traveltheworld #lion
