ChrisMeet Stephen - S1E5 “Make Me Something” For the first time in the series, @forty_wan_kenobi actually reached out to me and shared this recipe through an email. I was immediately intrigued, and decided to belly up to his bar to get to know him too. At the time, I hadn’t visited @judyandharrys just yet. Through word of mouth, I knew this place was supposed to be good. And honestly it was the best meal I’ve had since moving to the shore. Forty had seats waiting for us and took care of us like he knew us for years. I knew immediately I had to include him in this series. This man is loved, and must be protected at all costs. BORSCHT TOREADOR .5oz | 15ml Fino Sherry .5oz | 15ml Canallese Bianco Vermouth .75oz | 22.5ml Acid adjusted Beet Syrup .5oz | 15ml Reykjavik Dill Aquavit 1oz | 30ml Apricot infused Blanco Tequila Combine all ingredients into a stirring vessel, add ice, stir until thoroughly chilled and diluted. Strain into a chilled rocks glass with an ice block. Garnish with a pickled beet slice.
