Millennial In DebtIt’s that time of year again when I teach you / remind you that it’s possible to travel for free or at a discounted price by leveraging ALL the tools available to you ‼️ REMINDER: this is to be done properly to avoid unnecessary debt, overspending and paying interest. A $0 balance will always be the primary goal when possible. I don’t just use credit card points to access free travel (they are a big part for sure but NOT the only part) I have 4 credit cards I use responsibly (I don’t carry a balance and pay off the card monthly). With these cards I average 100,000+ points a year. Some do have an annual fee (the Amex cards) and some don’t (Citi + Capital One) I transfer my points out so I don’t use them in the portal. If you want to learn more about how I do that drop FREE TRAVEL in the comments and I’ll send you the link to my YT video explaining the process in detail I also use rewards / cash back apps like Fetch and loyalty programs like One Key. Using One Key points and my Credit card points I was able to book a 5 star hotel and two plane tickets for my partner and I to Aruba! I think I’m done traveling for the year (maybe some local spots) but I’ve still got 187,000 points remaining to use for next year ! . . . . . . . . . . . #millennialindebt #freetravel #howtotravel #wanderlust #traveler #travelblogger #discounttravel #travelonbudget #creditcards #creditcardpoints #rewardpoints
