Millennial In DebtAnother friendly reminder when negotiating an offer: yes equity is dope and you definitely want to have skin in the game but negotiating a higher salary or bigger sign on bonus is more important. Especially in a season of layoffs you may not have the opportunity to fully vest. Personally I only got 33% of my equity because I worked 15 mos at my former job and the vesting schedule was over a 4 year timeline.
