Maison MargielaIn September 2000, 12 years into our house’s history, we opened our first-ever store in a traditional home in a residential suburb of Tokyo called Ebisu. The store was named Maison Margiela Tokyo. To celebrate 20 years at 2-8-13, our research and documentation initiative Maison Margiela/folders uncovers how this store came to be, and the unconventional creativity that defines it.
