MadsLet’s talk cable kick backs ✍🏼 Since this is a single leg exercise, your stabilising muscles are working in order to keep you stable. Any type of movement or placement that throws your stability off slightly is going to cause those muscles to work harder. Here are a few easy fixes to help reduce this: 1. Choose a lighter weight - this exercise works best with lighter weight and higher reps 2. Stand closer to the cable (only about a foot away) 3. Hips are to remain locked in place throughout the entire movement 4. Don’t over extend your leg (as this may cause you hips to move) 5. Keep the movement slow and controlled will help with all of the above + being patient with your progress - just like any muscle, the more you work it the stronger it will get over time. I used to feel my stabilising muscles on every rep and I’m now at a point where I don’t feel them any longer. Trust the process 🤍
