Jasmine & Musashihi we are in tokyo!! one of the top bites of the trip so far at 📍udon shin BUT… we found the queing system to be a little chaotic in the morning. some tips for your visit if you were newbies like us: •get a reservation on table check if you can (reservations in tokyo>>>) •if no reservation you can get a ticket day of. our friend staying in the area went early ~8:45am to get a ticket (restaurant officially opens at 11am, thanks kev!!!!). you can start there and hang around at a cafe nearby. •however, they tend to start letting people in around 10:45am. I think the best time to arrive is at 10:40 to minimize chaos/waiting!! •if you get a ticket, the restaurant will email you when it’s time to head back to the restaurant so you don’t need to physically wait the whole time but if you’re like me and like to have a plan (hehe) then plan for something to do in the area while you’re waiting Musashi and I both enjoyed it. the carbonara is much lighter than we were envisioning!! def would go out of our way to visit this spot, it was hella good and even better if you can minimize waiting!! #tokyofood #tokyotravel #udon #udonshin
