Jasmine & Musashi5 Sauces Vid Someone on TikTok live asked for 5 sauces that would go well with all pork, chicken and beef. So many leftovers after this one lol Soy Butter Sauce 1Tbsp butter 1tsp soy sauce -Add butter towards the end of your cooking (used for sautéed dishes). Once melted, add the soy sauce and remove from heat. This sauce works especially well with squid as well (ika butter). Ginger Scallion Sauce 3 scallions 2 cloves garlic 1/2 inch piece of ginger Neutral oil (I use safflower) 1tsp Salt Finely mince scallions, ginger and garlic. Season with salt and cover with oil. Bring to a rapid bubble then reduce to a simmer. It's done when the ginger is cooked through, approx 30 minutes. Let cool to room temperature before placing in the fridge. Keeps for 1 week. Chimichurri Sauce 2 inch piece of scallion (white&green part) 40g parsley 40g cilantro 1 pinch mexican oregano Zest of 1 lime Pinch of cumin Pinch of white pepper Olive oil to cover Salt 1 lime wedge Finely mince scallion, parsley, and cilantro. Add everything else except lime wedge. Keeps for 4 days. Sweet Gochujang Sauce 32g Gochujang 9g Yondu 3g Sesame oil 3g Soy sauce 8g Honey 7g Mirin 5g Sugar 1g Salt 3g water Mix everything. Keeps for 1 month. Black Pepper Miso Butter Sauce 15 turns black pepper 1.5 Tbsp miso 1/5lb butter, cold cubed 1 Tbsp water Start by adding one cube of butter to 1 Tbsp water in a pot over low heat. Vigorously whisk, emulsifying a few cubes at a time until all the butter is incorporated. Add some water if it gets too thick. Add miso and black pepper and season with more water or miso to taste. #sauces #nycfoodie #professionalchef #gochujang #chimichurri #chef #miso #butter #buttersauce #asiancooking #homecook
