Lilgoofychris1I don’t cry for beginners because boxing is hard. I cry because they have no idea what they’re walking into yet. The bad coaches. The fake love. The egos. The gym politics. Getting used as someone else’s sparring partner. People putting you in situations you’re not ready for just to prove a point. Losing confidence. Getting hurt. Finding out some of the people you looked up to never really cared about you. And somehow, through all of that, you’re still expected to keep showing up. Boxing can build you into a completely different person. But before it builds you, sometimes it breaks parts of you first. So when I see a beginner excited to start, I see the version of myself who had no idea what was coming. #lilgoofychris1 #INSIDE #boxing #sparring
