It’s the most accessible form of photography. The street is always there, waiting for us to go shoot it, and the only decider of how good our images are is the most important skill in photography: the art of noticing. To scan scenes, to read light, and to anticipate moments before they happen. To work at my best, I have to stay in the flow. I want to have a thought and act on it instantly, letting my creativity run wild rather than my patience. Lightroom gives me that freedom, from batch editing to establish a grade, then to obsessively crop to the final image, to quickly compare micro-expressions/ subtle compositional changes, the software is now just an extension of me as a photographer, fueling my ability to operate at a high level."
