And I like doing this in two ways: using compositional techniques to make it clear what I want the viewer to look at, and adding (or removing) elements of the wider scene to connect the subject with its surroundings, so the subject isn't viewed in isolation. Lightroom gives me that freedom, from batch editing to establish a grade, then to obsessively crop to the final image, to quickly compare micro-expressions/ subtle compositional changes, the software is now just an extension of me as a photographer, fueling my ability to operate at a high level. Lightroom’s unbeatable cataloging allows me to quickly find images I want to re-edit when inspiration strikes."
