This weathering pit, formed over thousands of years, felt like stepping onto another planet. Storm light made the scene surreal—shadows shifting across sand, textures glowing for a moment, clouds building overhead. I’m drawn to hidden places where earth’s history is written in stone, yet the atmosphere feels alive. In Lightroom Classic, I leaned into that mood—using the Point Color Tool to refine hues, the Tone Curve to deepen shadows, the HSL/Color Panel to fine-tune tones, and the Masking Panel to emphasize the storm and dramatic clouds. Editing, for me, isn’t about changing a place, but drawing out the raw character nature already gave it."
