I try to pull this approach into my photography - I shoot subject matter that feels literal or obvious, but use Lightroom to push it beyond reality. I lean heavily on tools like the Tone Curves, and Color Calibration sliders to dial in the look I'm after. I'm never afraid to push a file 'too far' - you can always pull it back."
