Leona 🦋Our last picture together :’) Your best friend is finally here, Kati. I thought I would be okay. I told myself not to cry too hard, to keep it together. But as I approached you laying peacefully with a smile on your face, I couldn’t hold my tears back anymore. There you were, in the blue dress I picked for you. I asked your sister, “Did Kati really choose this dress as her final garment?”She told me it was your favourite dress. It brought back the memory of us running around town looking for a last minute dress for summer ball. We probably went to every single store we could go in to and our last stop was Anthropologie. I saw the blue dress and convinced you to try it. Not your typical colour choice but I just knew it would look beautiful on you. That was truly one of our happiest days together. It is the greatest comfort to see you in that dress one final time. It feels like a part of me will always be with you forever. I don’t think I will ever be able to recover from this loss. But at least you are at peace now. I love you, one final time.
