KithMarvel vs. Capcom | Kith for ASICS GEL-KAYANO® 14 Ryu The Ryu edition of the GEL-KAYANO 14™ features a white fabric upper with blue and red accents, inspired by its namesake character. The upper is executed primarily in canvas with frayed edges, as a nod to Ryu’s tattered wardrobe, along with tonal nubuck inserts. The synthetic heel counter is crafted in an electric blue, symbolizing Ryu’s Hadoken energy blast. Red accents are seen on the GEL inserts on the midsole, reminiscent of the fighter’s headband and gloves. This model has Kith-branding on the tongue, Fieg-branding on the heel, and Ryu character artwork on the sockliner completed with Marvel vs. Capcom | Kith for Asics badges. As opposed to the double-box sets featured in this collection, this model stands alone in single-box packaging inspired by retro arcades.
