NaomiIn the summer of 2024 my sister and I visited a coastal area in northwest Italy full of cliffs and colorful houses known as Cinque Terre, which is made up of 5 villages. The villages are called Monterosso, vernazza, corniglia, manarola, and riomaggiore. We visited all 5, but stayed in corniglia for 4 nights and in vernazza for 5. The 5 villages are all connected by an affordable and reliable train. There is no car service in Cinque Terre, but you will be fine without one. When we came to cinque Terre, we were coming from the Paris ORLY airport, and flew into Pisa. We then took 3 trains from Pisa to corniglia, as Pisa is the closest airport to Cinque Terre. It wasn’t the easiest to get there, but absolutely worth it. We had a perfect experience, people were kind, it was even more beautiful than the photos. All of the villages were perfect, straight out of a fairy tale book. We would absolutely love to go back.
