For years, nobody knew what this mysterious wild cat species, the güiña, sounded like. Today we do! Thanks to Fauna Andina, a conservation and research center in central-south Chile, we can share the sounds of this cat. Hand-raised by the center after arriving as a ten-day old orphan, today his vocalizations announce he is one happy cat; those low, fast-repeating sounds you hear are made when he’s excited. #cat #guina #PhotoArk
