Joel SartoreWhen I recorded this black bear cub, the North Carolina Zoo Wildlife Rehabilitation Center was assisting the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission with its rehabilitation. As the only zoo-owned and staffed wildlife rehabilitation center, they are unique in their ability to provide free veterinary and rehabilitation services to state and federally protected species, animals with special needs, and orphaned, sick, or injured wildlife native to North Carolina. #blackbear #cub #bear #wildlife #video #PhotoArk
