Meet Emmy, a southwestern pond turtle. Turtles like Emmy are opportunistic hunters, consuming almost anything they can catch and overpower. While a reliable source of water is important to this species, habitat on land is equally as important for nesting and going underground for brumation (reduced metabolic activity during cold conditions). #turtle #pondturtle #animal #reptile #wildlife #video #reel #footage #PhotoArk
