Joel SartorePayara tetra are a predatory species of fish found in the tropical waters of the Amazon Basin. These fish are born with gaps in their upper jaw to accommodate razor-sharp fangs which can reach up to six inches long. These fangs, which are very sharp and designed to kill prey, are why this species is often referred to as vampire tetra. #fish #tetra #payara #vampire #fangs #video #reel #footage #PhotoArk
