Joel SartoreWilson’s plover chicks like these grow up fast. While mom and dad tend to their young, soon the chicks will be responsible for feeding themselves and take their first flight at just three weeks old. While exploring the beach, these chicks will run a few steps, pause, then run again, pecking at the ground in search of something good to eat. #plover #chick #wilson #birds #animals #wildlife #video #footage #PhotoArk
