Joel SartoreIn 2019, fourteen Loa water frogs were airlifted to Zoo Nacional de Chile after being found in a muddy puddle - all that was left of their habitat in the Atacama desert. Dehydrated and malnourished, herpetologists nursed these incredible amphibians back to health. Just one year later, these frogs successfully mated and produced 200 offspring - a sign of hope for this critically endangered species. #frog #waterfrog #endangered #amphibian #wildlife #animal #conservation #video #PhotoArk
