This little critter may look cute, but American pikas are very territorial, actively defending their home turf from other pikas in the area. Found in rocky mountain areas, this species feeds on a variety of green plants and grasses, often storing food in a pile known as a haystack. This reserve helps to keep the pika fed throughout the winter months when they spend most of their time deep within their dens. #pika #american #mammal #animal #wildlife #video #PhotoArk
