Joel SartoreYoung African rainbow crabs like this one have a blue body, red legs, and whitish claws - colors that will eventually fade as the crab gets older. Juvenile and adult crabs of this species cannot remain submerged in water for long periods of time, so they will spend most of their time on dry land. Females, however, must return to the water periodically to release their eggs. #crab #rainbow #colorful #young #animal #wildlife #video #marinewildlife #ocean #PhotoArk
