Joel SartoreMeet Sika, a Northern lynx. Lynx are incredibly secretive and can often go unnoticed in an area for many months or in some cases, years! Feeding mainly on hoofed mammals like deer, these cats stalk their prey from behind dense vegetation waiting for the opportune moment to pounce, then move to quickly deliver a fatal bite to the neck. #lynx #cat #feline #predator #carnivore #animal #wildlife #mammal #video #PhotoArk
