IndeedToday marks the first day of Black History Month. This year’s theme is “African Americans and the Arts.” To celebrate, we’d like to give the spotlight to some of the talented Black filmmakers we’ve had the chance to work with. Indeed’s program Rising Voices, now in its fourth season, aims to discover, invest in, and amplify stories created by Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) filmmakers. It’s done in collaboration with executive producer Lena Waithe, Hillman Grad Productions, and 271 Films. See the films on the Rising Voices website (link in bio). Do you have a favorite?
