IMJUSTBAITA van driver has been praised by Kent Police after helping armed officers arrest a fleeing suspect during a foot chase in Thanet. Officers were responding to reports of a serious assault on 16 June when a wanted suspect ran from a property towards Tivoli Road. As officers chased him on foot, a passing van driver stopped and invited one of the armed officers into the back of his vehicle, allowing police to catch up with the suspect and make the arrest shortly afterwards. Kent Police have recommended the driver for a formal commendation, saying his quick thinking and willingness to help played a key role in the successful arrest of a violent offender. #police #fyp #imjustbait
