Jenna MarieYour bucket list for exploring PEI's North Cape Coastal Drive this summer 👇🏽 I recently spent a few days exploring a side of Prince Edward Island with @Tourism PEI I hadn't experienced before, and it quickly became one of my favourite parts of the island! If you're looking for red cliffs, endless beaches, fresh seafood, charming coastal communities, and some of the most beautiful sunsets on the East Coast, PEI's North Cape Coastal Drive deserves a spot on your summer bucket list. It's the perfect place to slow down, unwind, and experience the quieter side of island life. 🌊☀️ 📌 Save this for your future PEI road trip! Here's what you need to add to your list: 1️⃣ Catch sunset at West Point Beach Home to the iconic West Point Lighthouse, which also doubles as an inn and museum. 2️⃣ Eat at Lighthouse Willy's Restaurant A local favourite located just steps from West Point Beach. 3️⃣ Stay & paddle at Kildare Lodge Explore the coastline by kayak or paddleboard right from the property. 4️⃣ Meet the alpacas at Green Gable Alpacas Learn about alpaca wool and meet some very cute locals 🦙 5️⃣ Explore Donahue Beach A beautiful red-sand beach that's perfect for sunrise, afternoon strolls, and coastal views. 6️⃣ Go glamping at PEI Centreline Escapes Stay in a geodesic dome complete with a hot tub and surrounded by nature. 7️⃣ Visit the Bottle Houses & Gardens Three houses built entirely from recycled glass bottles, surrounded by beautiful gardens. 8️⃣ Explore North Cape Located at the northwesternmost tip of PEI, this is where the Gulf of St. Lawrence meets the Northumberland Strait. Explore the lighthouse, walk along the dramatic red cliffs, and stay for one of the island's most beautiful sunsets. 9️⃣ Stay at Mill River Resort Known for its championship golf course, beautiful grounds, and relaxing atmosphere. Have you been to PEI yet?! 🤍 #FeelLighter #ExplorePEI
