❤️ — I am overjoyed to announce that, for the first-ever @FIFA World Cup Halftime Show, I will conduct both my dear @New York Philharmonic and my sisters and brothers of the @sinfonicasimonbolivar, joining Madonna, Shakira + Burna Boy, BTS, Justin Bieber, and PS22 Chorus (ft. Coldplay). 🗽🇻🇪⚽️🌎 My heart remains with the people of Venezuela in these difficult days, and to share the stage in this unforgettable moment with my beloved Bolivars – who represent the entire @El Sistema family and all of Venezuela – is a powerful expression of the strength and resilience of our country. To bring them together for the first time in history alongside the extraordinary New York Philharmonic, as I prepare for this exciting new chapter with them, is a beautiful expression of global unity and love. The communities we build through music will always be a source of strength when we need it most. ❤️ 📸: Jason Bell for the New York Philharmonic
