GapBonjour, ian. Born in St. Louis and based in LA, @iaaaannnnnnn is redefining trap music through a melodic lens, creating a sound that is entirely his own. Never afraid to express himself through his songs — or in this case, by acting for the first time in our film for Gap × A.P.C. Ian plays an American in Paris, whose missed bus turns into a meet-cute. Tapping into his own story for the role made the whole thing feel like kismet: “I’m playing a guy who’s alone in Paris, not really knowing what to do with himself. For the past two years, being a musician and just running around, you do feel that way sometimes,” he says. “I meet all these people who show me things I wouldn’t see otherwise.
