ESATime to head home 🌍 After nearly eight months, our astronaut Sophie Adenot and her Crew-12 crewmates are leaving the International Space Station. They undocked from the Station today, beginning their journey back to Earth. Next comes a series of manoeuvres before re-entry through Earth’s atmosphere, where the capsule’s heat shield will face temperatures of up to 1600°C. 📹 European Space Agency (ESA) #ESA #ISS #Astronaut
