ESAWhat role does Europe want to play in the next era of space exploration? On the 9-10 September, world leaders, ministers, industry representatives and astronauts will gather in Paris for the International Space Summit, at a pivotal moment for the future of space. Our Director General Josef Aschbacher will invite European leaders to reflect on the role Europe wishes to play in the next era of space exploration and on the level of ambition needed to help shape it. Human activity in low Earth orbit is entering a new phase, the Moon is becoming a destination for sustained operations, and the foundations for future missions to Mars are already being laid. The International Space Summit is an important opportunity to build momentum around Europe’s long-term vision for space exploration in a rapidly changing world. 📹 European Space Agency (ESA) #ESA #Space #ParisSpaceSummit
