Dr. DiAnne Davis, MD, FAADπ·οΈππ‘π¨π¬π πππ¬π² ππ’ππ¬π² ππ©π’πππ«π¬π·οΈ β£ β£ After all of that trick-or-treating and walking around, have you started to notice a spider veins? β£ β£ Thatβs where sclerotherapy comes in! Sclerotherapy effectively treats small varicose and spider veins.β£ The procedure involves injecting a solution directly into the vein. The sclerotherapy solution causes the vein to scar, forcing blood to reroute through healthier veins. The collapsed vein is reabsorbed into local tissue and eventually fades.β£ β£ After sclerotherapy, treated veins tend to fade within a few weeks, although occasionally it may take a month or more to see the full results.β£ β£ I recommend my patients do this treatment during the winter time because the aftercare does involve wearing compression stockings and that is just not a good luck in your summer shorts πβ£ β£ So whose ready to treat those π·οΈveins??β£ β£ Drop your questions about sclerotherapy in the comments below ππ½ππ½ππ½β£ β£ ##happyhalloween##happyhalloween2022 ##spiders##SpiderVeins ##spiderman##spiderwoman ##halloweenfun##halloweenspider ##sclerotherapy##sclerotherapytreatment##varicoseveins##varicoseveintreatment##beforeandafter #beforeandafter
