This music, this culture, this life… it’s in me. And I know sometimes, from the outside looking in, it may seem easy. You see us on stage dancing, smiling, having a time, making it look effortless - but what you see in those moments is the result of YEARS of hard work. Years of building a brand. Years of sustaining that brand. Years of consistency, discipline and showing up even when nobody sees what it takes behind the scenes. The endless days, nights and weeks of work. The sleepless nights. The flights. The sacrifices. The missed moments. Being away from our families for what feels like forever sometimes. The preparation, the pressure, the setbacks, the sacrifices nobody sees - all for those few hours when we get to step on that stage, press play and give you everything we have. Our mission has always been bigger than us. It has always been about pushing OUR culture, OUR music and OUR people to every corner of this earth. 🌍🇹🇹🌴 And we will continue to do exactly that. As women in this industry, the road isn’t always easy. Sometimes we have to work twice as hard, push a little harder, prove ourselves over and over again and still make it all look effortless. So this one means something. This award is a testament to HARD WORK. CONSISTENCY. COMMITMENT. SACRIFICE. And most importantly, never forgetting WHY we started. To every person who has supported me, booked me, believed in me, danced with me, travelled with me, worked alongside me, shared the music, screamed from the crowd and been part of this journey - this belongs to ALL OF US.
