💚Climb4recovery💚9 years clean. I wasn’t supposed to make it out. Statistically. Realistically. Honestly. Guys with my past usually end up dead, locked up, or forgotten. I came from cells, cuffs, and concrete beds. From stealing time from everyone who loved me. From looking in the mirror and seeing someone I hated… and getting high so I didn’t have to look. Recovery didn’t save me. I fought for this. Every craving. Every excuse. Every “just one more.” I bled for this life in ways nobody saw. For 9 years I’ve said no — when my head was screaming yes. When life kicked me in the teeth. When giving up would’ve been easier. This life still gets heavy. I still get tired. I still get angry. But I don’t get high. Because a bad day clean is still a victory. And going back would mean everything I survived meant nothing. If you think you’re too far gone — I was you. If you think you can’t do it — neither could I. But here I am. Still standing. Still climbing. Still clean. 9 damn years. #Climb4Recovery
