Myself, the volunteers, the friends who became family, the people tagged below, and every single person who has ever believed in this mission — we will walk into those stores and shop our hearts out for the kids who need it the most. Kids who lost a parent to addiction. Kids whose moms or dads are incarcerated. Kids who carry questions they’ll never get answers to. Kids who deserve to feel seen… just once. And somehow… every year… we find a way. Because of YOU. Every soul who donated — whether it was $1 or $100 — you are the reason a child will wake up to a Christmas morning they thought they’d lost forever. You’re the reason we get to turn pain into hope… even if just for one day. And for everyone in recovery who supports this mission… this one hits different. Because we know how close we came to being another parent missing from the story. We know what it means to fight our way back and still choose to give. Tonight, my heart is heavy… but full. We’ve lost too many people to addiction — good people who should still be here. And some of these kids will carry that loss forever. So tomorrow, when we shop… we shop for them, we shop for the ones we lost, and we shop for the ones still fighting. A child shouldn’t learn about grief before they learn about Christmas.
