I arrived with a craft I had learned as a child and the determination to turn it into my future. I brought everything I had learned since I began my journey in the hair industry at twelve years old. The lessons my uncle taught me, the way I care for people, and the warmth of Peru. I arrived in Seattle without speaking English, without a brand, and without knowing almost anyone.
